Rebranding a B2B Experience
A Conference Campaign
Animal shelters microchip their pets to keep them safe and buy these microchips from vendors. Found Animals Foundation is the perfect vendor: they’re a non-profit, they run shelters of their own, and their chips are cheaper than any of their for-profit competitors. Unfortunately, their conference booths weren’t having the impact they wanted. So we rebooted Found Animals’ conference experiences with more simplicity, more fun, and less to lug around.
Step 1
Get on their Side
Found Animals is a game changer in their industry. Their microchip registry protects animals for free, while others charge for that service. Our booth’s eye-catching graphics underscored this difference, standing out against the largely black-and-white competition.

Step 2
Show Some Empathy
Since Found Animals runs shelters of their own, they “get” the exhausting, non-stop work shelters do. We created a video that highlighted Found Animals’ free technology and programs that help lighten the load.

Step 3
Have Some Fun
Pet professionals are notoriously people-shy. So we created a warm-up tool for the conference booth: an iPad experience that gamified the everyday tasks only shelter people know about. While it entertained and educated, it also was designed to collect valuable lead data with a leaderboard for prizes, resulting in a lead per minute!

Step 4
Streamline the Sale
With a single, well-crafted PowerPoint, we helped Found Animals simplify their sales message, keeping reps consistently focused on the most effective talking points.
Step 5
A Reason to Remember
We replaced boxes of materials with a simple, clever brochure — one side shared key selling points and contact info, the other served as an educational poster for waiting rooms.

Big Results
We made every effort to help Found Animals connect with conference goers. And it worked. Where previous conferences only got a few leads a day, now we were registering a new lead every minute, which led to the biggest result of all, a 47% increase in year over year microchip sales!
